Villa Pulicara is a beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse situated within the undulating Tuscan Hills outside the beautiful walled city of Lucca.
This bright property, with its finely detailed decor, is perfectly located. While only a 10-minute from Lucca, it provides utmost privacy. The grounds, with the walled gardens and the swimming pool, create a magnificent environment to relax in and enjoy the holiday. However, culture and adventure are short distances away, with mountains to the north, the Mediterranean Sea to the west, and Renaissance and medieval cities in nearly every direction. Indeed, on clear days one can see the leaning Tower of Pisa in the distance.
This lovely villa is filled with light and open-spaces. The interiors were designed by the finest craftsmen with respect for both the Tuscan traditions and the highest standards of modern amenities. All of the fireplaces are antique and the main one in the living room dates back to the 16th century. The first floor opens on to the outdoor terrace and the pergolas that provide a perfect place for dining al-fresco or to simply enjoy the peace of the property.
The estate has five en-suite bedrooms; four large bedrooms, two on each floor plus a smaller one on the ground floor. All the rooms are decorated with pastel tones with antique pieces of furniture, wooden beams and terracotta tiles, and all the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The property also features a lovely artists' studio full of charm and enchantment.
